Reflektive is thrilled Barbara Competello and Jaisimha Muthegere have joined our executive team as Chief Customer Officer and Chief Technology Officer. During these unprecedented times, Competello and Muthegere’s expertise is integral to round out our leadership team, and bring innovative technology and implementation best practices to Reflektive customers around the world.
We sat down with the newest Reflektors to find out more.
Reflektive: Where do you see the biggest opportunity in performance management?
Competello: Performance Management is not a one size fits all approach. The HR function has expanded beyond compliance and hiring, and the real measure is the impact they have in attracting and retaining top talent and growing the company through shared objectives.
Our customers are all committed to the same goal – empowering their teams. I’ve worked at small to large organizations, and teams all based out of headquarters to very remote. Their expectations and what they need to succeed is different. I’ll be working across marketing, sales and professional services to unite our customer success at Reflektive. We work with some really cool and innovative companies and as the executive face to customers, I’m thrilled to be their advocate and ensure their success.
Muthegere: We’ve barely scratched the surface when it comes to performance management. Our team is solving real problems, and the value proposition is when performance management and engagement come together to bring out rich analytics and intelligence. When we bring data, intelligence and performance management together, the results are powerful for managers, HR leaders and executives. These insights will guide managers to ensure employee engagement and productivity are high, and also help ensure that employees are recognized.
Reflektive: Why did you decide to join Reflektive?
Competello: I am well aware of the challenges of managing a large and remote team. To retain and attract talent and effectively grow and scale your business, it’s integral to engage your team, build a culture of feedback and have the right tools to meet your employees where they work. Unfortunately, many companies (including ones that I worked at) are still operating with a one and done review process and lack regular verbal or written feedback. I’m excited by the opportunity to work with Reflektive’s diverse customer base and empower people to do their best work.
Muthegere: It is very clear to me that when you invest in your people, the rest will follow. This skill set isn’t innate in all leaders especially in this age when teams are remote and distributed, and most need guidance and tools like Reflektive to help facilitate better conversations. I joined Reflektive because of the space that it is in, the product, the people and the opportunity. The team and technical talent here were a huge motivator, and I’m looking forward to scaling and building products that solve people’s needs.
