Today’s workforce is global. If you don’t have employees either remote or in offices located around the world, you will, soon. Setting these employees up for success means providing them with tools that work no matter their location.
Customer success is a top priority at Reflektive. One way we’re driving long-term success worldwide with the cloud is by helping to ensure customer privacy, data protection, and their employees’ trust.
We leverage a variety of security and compliance practices including Service Organization Controls (SOC) and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Erick Tai, VP of Engineering and cofounder at Reflektive, takes a moment in this video to share more:
SOC 2 and GDPR Leadership
In May 2018, we achieved SOC 2 Type 2 compliance by continuing to focus on data protection and security practices as an ongoing commitment and discipline across our entire business. Service Organization Controls (SOC) exist to validate a company’s controls and ensure industry standards are followed. Reflektive’s SOC 2 Type 1 report, announced August 2017, was prepared in accordance with the Statement on Standards for Attestation Engagements No. 16 (a.k.a SSAE 16) and documents operational policies and procedures for Reflektive’s system of internal controls.
Reflektive was also recognized in May 2018 as a General Data Protection Regulation compliant company. The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a new framework of data protection laws for the European Union coming into effect on May 25, 2018. Organizations collecting personal data of EU residents must adequately ensure protection of that data under these laws. Essentially, any company that does business in the EU and captures any kind of personal data about any EU resident will have to be in compliance.
Trust is necessary for building a culture of real-time feedback, performance management and growth. Employees trust their managers and executives to keep personal and professional data safe; customers trust Reflektive to do the same.
We’re committed to the highest data-protection and security standards possible and will continue to invest in SOC 2 and GDPR practices as we grow and serve more customers worldwide. Learn more via our privacy policy and security pages.
