For many human resources professionals, this past weekend was spent waltzing down Bourbon Street with Mardi Gras beads in hand for the annual SHRM conference. For those who don’t know what SHRM is, it is the Society for Human Resource Management’s annual conference, which is the largest annual gathering of HR professionals in the world.
Each year the SHRM weekend is jam-packed with keynote speakers, breakout sessions, and networking opportunities for people of all backgrounds to participate and engage in. This year, attendees were given the opportunity to sit in on over two hundred concurrent sessions and four keynote speakers, where they learned about various solutions to everyday human resources challenges.
This year was the second year that we attended the conference, and we learned so much over the four days that we have created a list of the top voices from SHRM 2017. Each of these speakers and thought leaders engaged and inspired their audiences to enact change in human resources for their organizations.
From keynote speakers to live-tweeters, the HR leaders on this list set themselves apart from the rest at SHRM 2017 by teaching, motivating, and coaching all attendees who were fortunate enough to hear them.
